Now Offering Advanced Wound Care for Diabetics
Diabetics are at high risk of developing foot ulcers and infections. Ulcers on the feet can lead to amputation if left untreated. Wound care for diabetics is a specialized treatment that aims to prevent and treat wounds in people with diabetes.
Diabetes is a disease that causes high blood sugar levels, which can damage many parts of the body, including your nerves, heart and circulation system. It can also cause problems with your eyesight and kidneys. When you have diabetes, it means your body doesn’t produce enough insulin or it can’t use the insulin it makes properly. This leads to high blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia). Your body gets rid of this extra glucose by either producing more urine or storing it as fat. In this process, wounds may develop on any part of the body as a result of an injury or infection.
Diabetics are at higher risk of developing foot ulcers and infections because they tend to have poor circulation in their feet due to nerve damage caused by their disease. This means they don’t feel pain as quickly as those without diabetes do when they get injured or infected.

What Our Patients Say
Patient
1st appointment went amazingly well. My "Swift" (tm) treatment for plantar warts is like a miracle! I had been 8 months in another practice with no improvement (no complaints there, just nothing worked). Here I could see visible results in under two weeks with one virtually pain-free Swift treatment. Amazing! Fast, no blood, no pain, no needles, all good. Dr. Bui and the front office receptionist Ivy are professional and ever so friendly. New practice - plenty of room and personal attention. Highly recommend.
Patient
1st appointment went amazingly well. Ivy was wonderful receiving me as a new patient and very pleasant to deal with. I can’t say enough about Dr. Bui and her thoroughness and care for her patients. She covered just about every aspect of my feet and gave me several options of how to move forward with my treatment. I look forward to seeing her again as it appears I may require surgery

Patient
She's absolutely amazing! My dad has diabetes and has lost his 1 leg and we're working on saving his left foot. We've had 6 other surgeon's and doctors, but we've never had a doctors/surgeons in our lives and we have never had someone 1000% there. She will take her time. She chats with you, explains everything she dies and why, you are welcome to ask any questions and she will take her time with you. She's not just the surgeon but a friend. The entire stuff is absolutely hands on friendly. It so much fun and joy coming to the office. I promise you'll leave with the biggest smile on your face. We can't thank the entire staff enough for everything you do! Keep up the great work!
